Geocaching & Canoeing in One Day

Does it get any better then to do two things you love in the same day. I have been looking at the paddling Beaver & McGill lake in Middle Clyde. This trip requires a drop off & pickup. I had the thought of taking the truck & car and do some geocaching while in the area. The plan was to leave one vehicle and the end of the canoe route and continue up the road geocachng along the way. When we reached the Tom McGill homestead Dorothy & Katie dropped Troy & I off to make our way down Hamilton Creek to Beaver & McGill lake. It was a fairly windy day and of course we had to paddle into it most of the way down.
All in all a great route to paddle if you have a few hours.
